On Saturday, 29 November 2014, I visited Open Primary High School in Lainsasi, Sangarani Province, Philiphines. Lainsasi is located in the most southern part of the Philippines. I went there with two teachers of SID, they were Mr. Frans and Ms. Juvelyn. We departed at 5.30 am from Davao City by bus and arrived there at 11 am. The both of teachers taught matematics and biology. Meanwhile I taught ICT after having lunch.

the students were learning Math
I introduced myself first and distributed the tablets to the students. But because a limited number of tablets then I made several groups so they could alternately use the tablets. They learnt how to read e-book and how to use browser feature to connect to theinternet. Every student looked very excited and enthusiastic.

As the instructor, I always gave them the words that foster the spirit eventhough we were living in straitened condition but with work hard, study hard and keep praying they also could get the scholarship to study in higher level.
Unfortunately in Open Primary High School of Lainsasi, the electricity is unavailable and its place joins with a small church near the beach. According to the teacher, Sami, the church will soon be evicted and a new building will be established for Open Primary High School of Lainsasi. We just can pray that building will be established soon so the education there can go on.
